Full definition

The Product type captures commercial attributes engines use for rich results and shopping features: name, image, description, sku or gtin, brand, and nested Offer objects with price, currency, and availability. AggregateRating and Review fields have strict eligibility rules; fake reviews are prohibited.

Product markup should mirror visible listing content and feed data. Mismatches between price in HTML and price in JSON-LD create policy and trust problems.

AI shopping and comparison answers often need structured attributes; clean Product schema and feeds improve the chance of accurate recommendations. See Shopping Graph, Structured Data, and Organization Schema.

Example

A PDP includes Product JSON-LD with Offer price and availability matching the buy box so crawlers and shopping surfaces see one consistent SKU state.
