How we source these statistics
Every statistic on this hub must cite a real, named, dated, linkable source. The data model requires both a publisher name and a URL; cards without them cannot render. We prefer primary materials: company disclosures, large survey organizations, and research teams that publish methods (for example Pew Research Center, OpenAI posts, Ahrefs studies, Similarweb analyses, and SparkToro research).
We do not fabricate numbers, do not present hedged estimates as facts, and do not carry unsourced claims across pages. When sources conflict, we show both with attribution. Figures older than about twelve months are labeled historical so they are not mistaken for the latest reading. For ROI-style modeling with disclosed assumptions, use the GEO ROI Calculator.
Category pages are reviewed at least quarterly. “Last updated” changes only when content actually changes—not as a cosmetic freshness bump.
