Full definition

Each Wikidata item has a Q-ID and claims (statements) with properties, values, and references—for example headquarters location or official website. It underpins Wikipedia infoboxes and feeds many knowledge-graph consumers beyond Wikimedia.

Notable, well-sourced entities may receive Wikidata items; notability and sourcing norms apply. Self-promotional or poorly referenced edits can be reverted. Official website and sameAs links should match real identity.

For entity SEO, a correct Wikidata item can strengthen machine-readable identity when the brand is encyclopedically notable. See Wikipedia SEO, sameAs, and Knowledge Graph.
